The Unit is een Amerikaanse actie-/dramaserie van CBS. De serie ging in première op 7 maart 2006.
The Unit is een organisatie van de US Army, die te vergelijken is met Delta Force. The Unit is onder de dekmantel van 303rd Logistical Studies Group gehuisvest in het fictieve Forth Griffith. Aan het hoofd staat kolonel Tom Ryan. De eenheid zelf bestaat uit sergeant-majoor Jonas Blane en zijn sergeanten Mack Gerhardt, Bob Brown, Charles Grey en Hector Williams. Hun werk is topgeheim, waardoor zelfs hun vrouwen niet weten waar ze mee bezig zijn. Bridget Sulivan is een vrouw die onofficieel met The Unit samenwerkt. Vanaf 2009 is er een nieuwe teamlid bijgekomen genaamd Sam McBride, hij is het jongste lid van de eenheid.

Always Kiss Them Goodbye
The Unit is back together and ready to take on their next assignment when a bomb filled with a nerve agent stolen from a nearby base is discovered to be on its way to their home.
On the home front, Jonas and Molly make plans to spend time together, Mack is ordered to move out of his home, and Kim proposes a new show for the station but ends up handling a crisis.
