The Walking Dead has found the actress for Negan's wife

The Walking Dead cast seems to become a true family. Lucille, Negan's wife, will make her first appearance in 2021. Hilarie Burton will become the face of Negan's wife, Lucille. Negan is portrayed by Jeffrey Dean Morgan and has been married to Burton (One Tree Hill) since 2019. Lucille will become a recurring character and will first be seen in one of the six extra episodes of the tenth season. These extra episodes will release somewhere in early 2021.

In Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead comics, Negan was married to Lucille before the zombie apocalypse. His wife was diagnosed with cancer and Negan decided to end his affair with another woman in order to spend as many days as possible with his wife. Lucille was aware of this affair. Her death came simultaneously with the zombie outbreak and she came back as a zombie. Negan named his notorious barbwire baseball bat after his deceased wife.
