BBC comfirmes that Top of the Lake will get a sequel

It is official: BBC Two has confirmed that ‘Top of the Lake’ will have a second season.

The critically-acclaimed series ‘Top of the Lake’ that was filmed in New Zealand is a mystery drama with Elisabeth Moss starring as a detective investigating the disappearance of a pregnant 12-year-old girl.

When production will start or when the second season will premiere is yet to be announced.
