Traces is een Britse misdaadserie van de zender UKTV Gold. De serie ging in première op 9 december 2019.
Emma Hedges (Molly Windsor), is een laboratoriumassistent die lid wordt van het Schotse Instituut voor Forensische Wetenschap en Anatomie (SIFA). Ze stuit op een fictieve casus van een moord die een opvallende gelijkenis vertoont met herinneringen uit haar verleden.
Om antwoorden te vinden, duikt Emma diep in de forensische wetenschap, waarbij ze niet weet wie ze kan vertrouwen.
Met behulp van professoren Sarah Gordon (Laura Fraser) en Kathy Torrance (Jennifer Spence) probeert Emma de moordenaar voor het gerecht brengen.

I've seen episode 1. Enough question marks to get curious about the sequel. Little action, but a crime series like I'm used to. And there is nothing wrong with that.

All those English series are always fun to watch. Just normal people and none of that "over the top" American stuff. And now I'm going to watch the 2nd season. M curious.

The second season is good, but the storyline is strange and bothers me. The main characters of the first season disappear from the scene without a trace and do not appear at all in the final episodes (not even in the conversations). Too bad, because the story is otherwise exciting until the last minute. The developing relationship between Sarah and Neil is also actually superfluous to the story...
