‘True Detective’ second season unsure

Matthew McConaughney announced, after he received his Oscar for best actor in ‘Dallas Buyers Club’, that he will not return in ‘True Detective’. So it is unsure if there will be a second season of the hit series.

McConaughney stated: “I made the series but I am not sure what and when anything is going to happen.” He dodged the truth about the last episode of ‘True Detectives’ with this clever answer. McConaughney does not only play a leading role with Woody Harrelson but also produces ‘True Detective’. He must know how the series is going to end.

Why McConaughney does not tell us anything will be revealed March 9th in the last episode of HBO’s ‘True Detectives’ and the Dutch viewers will know a day later.
