Turning Point: The Bomb and the Cold War really got me thinking. Of course I already knew something about the Cold War and the threat of nuclear weapons, but this series really made clear how close it was several times. I found the stories of people who experienced this up close impressive and sometimes frightening. It shows how powerful countries play with fire, while ordinary people have to live with the consequences. Highly recommended if you want to understand more about how the world became what it is today.
