Urbanus van binnen

Urbanus van binnen is an Belgium documentary which is aired on VRT 1. The series premiered on April 12th, 2025.

Urbanus has turned 75 and is far from planning to stop, on the contrary: all spring and a good part of autumn 2025 he is touring Flanders with Bes Tof, a show in which he recreates his most beautiful and funniest songs and sketches. Together with the kick-off of the tour, VRT 1 brings Urbanus from within. The programme delves into Urban's memory and oeuvre as he prepares for his show, with a compilation of his best stories, sketches and songs from the past half century, and the punkiest stories Urban himself remembers in the process.
