Netflix reveals cast for Vikings: Valhalla

The cast for the Vikings spin-off - Vikings: Valhalla - has been completed. Netflix has revealed which actors and actresses can be seen in the upcoming series.
Vikings has officially ended, but that will not be the end of the franchise. Near the end of 2019, Netflix announced a spin-off to the original History Channel series, Vikings: Valhalla. The spin-off takes place 100 years after the events of the original series and revolves around the most famous vikings who ever lived. To name a few, we're going to see Leif Eriksson, Freydis Eriksdotter and Harald Hardrada. These roles will be portrayed by Sam Corlett (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Frida Gustavsson (Partison) and Leo Suter (Sanditon) respectively.

Bradley Freegard (Keeping Faith) will portray Cnut the Great, the king of Denmark. Jóhannes Jóhannesson (Cursed (2020)) will portray the Norwegian king Olaf Haraldsson. Laura Berlin (Breaking Even) will portray the politically strong Emma of Normandy, who was also one of the wealthiest women of Europe. David Oakes (Victoria) will portray Earl Godwin of Wessex, lead advisor to the king of England. Caroline Henderson (Julestjerner/Christmas Star) will portray Jarl Haakon, a fantastic warrior and tolerant leader of Kattegat. Next to that, Pollyanna McIntosh (Lodge 49) has a recurring role of Queen Ælfgifu of Denmark. Asbjørn Krogh Nissen (Bron/Broen) will portray the recurring character of Jarl Kåre, who is a threat to the old pagan ways.
