The Vikings think there are no countries in the West and everyone says Ragnar is crazy. It is difficult for him to find a boat builder and soldiers who want to go to the unknown west, England. Vikings shows that in the time of the Vikings they weren't sissies. You saw looting, rapes and deaths occasionally. The men sop, party, plunder, eat and go to bed with one lady after the other. Yet life in the ninth century is no fun and certainly not a big party. Major one-way fights to Valhalla are certainly no exception. Everything is presented with conviction, the story is fascinating, the battles are beautiful to watch, the ships are beautiful and the stories about the Gods told at the campfire are impressive. Vikings isn't Game of Thrones, but the feel is a bit similar. I think that's because it could have happened so real. It is a series that can be compared, for example, with Spartacus.

regret that the series has ended. but much was not possible anymore. from ragna to bjorn beautiful series. I find the part after that a bit less and is a bit mediocre at the end. if you do not know this series yet and you are just starting, hold on because in the beginning you will have a short evening with your thoughts watching 1 episode

I thought the start was a bit disappointing after the smashing end of season 2. But the introduction for the rest of the season contained beautiful conspiracies and storylines for season 3 :)
