Vrederechters

Vrederechters is a Belgium reality program which aired on VTM. The series premiered on March 30, 2022.

'Judges of the Peace' offers Flanders a glimpse behind the scenes of the court closest to the people. From overhanging trees to noise pollution or overdue rent, the justice of the peace knows what to do with it. In the program, viewers follow the daily lives of eight characterful justices of the peace from all over Flanders. And not just during public sessions. One look at the situation on the ground is sometimes worth a thousand words, and so the judges go out every now and then. In addition to being experienced magistrates, they are also true masters of psychology, resolving fiery neighbor disputes with heartwarming reconciliations and solution-focused interventions.
