What kind of guy are you? You leave your lady alone in the evening waiting for the bus? It's not a sin that you let her wait alone for the bus, it just doesn't look very safe there. Lola (Rebecca Gibney) and Chelsea (Geraldine Hakewill) soon find out in Wanted. Did you just come from work, do you experience this kind of shit! Lola and Chelsea first witness a murder and then soon face a masked man with a firearm. Not long afterwards they lie together in the trunk. Nice and snug against each other. This is not how they proposed their evening. Sir does not blame them. Wanted is an Australian series on Seven Network. The series boils down to the following: two strangers must rely on each other to stay ahead of the scum chasing them. Lola and Chelsea are dead normal women. They have not signed up for this. However, running off with criminals' money has seldom been a wise choice. So if you as a viewer are curious about how both women stay out of the hands of their pursuers; then you've come to the right place. Rebecca Gibney and Geraldine Hakewill are not without merit as Lola and Chelsea. Gibney comes off as the brave of the two. Lola is the type who has not fallen on her mouth. It is the type of woman who stands up for herself and manages to hold her own. So those properties will certainly come in handy now. But, if Lola is the spicy ... then Chelsea is the not-so-spicy, of course! Wanted is not alone with this division of roles by the book. The series quickly becomes a standard exercise. You have seen Wanted before. More importantly, you have probably seen the better version of Wanted before. The first episode of this series is not a bad thing, but a dance of joy is certainly not possible. The series fails to make you really curious about the sequel. It doesn't get really interesting anywhere. It's all pretty cliché. Those who chase the ladies do not exactly work well thought out. I regularly wondered how these figures have not been passed on before. Their actions do not show any skills or competences. These two women aren't formidable opponents, are they? I don't appreciate any series that progresses the plot with the incompetence of certain characters. In the case of Wanted, it's also just plain idiot. Of course the series ends immediately when Lola and Chelsea are arrested. I get that. But the ladies are not very inventive. There is no reason why these ladies should be able to trick everyone. So I'm not going to watch for long episodes how these ladies stay free, because their attackers simply don't do their job. Ain't nobody got time for that. www.meneervevie.com

I totally agree, very predictable but I find the low point when a person is taken away in a police van and then turns out to have escaped a few scenes away; open the door and he's gone ... HOW ?.

It was a gamble...just saw the first two episodes and I like it. Nice and simple, exciting here and there, humor and the necessary sarcasm. For me it's just the beginning, but I have a good feeling about it. And why do I get that "Thelma & Louise" feeling... 😉
