Welkom in de prehistorie

Welkom in de prehistorie is a Dutch historical program which aired on NPO Zapp. The series premiered on February 12, 2023.

A new diptych in the series of historical comedies for all ages, in which this time the prehistory is central. That time lasted 2.5 million years: from the very first human -like, along Stone Age, Ice Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age to the Roman raid. In welcome in prehistory, it is summarized in two times 25 minutes.

From whom do we descend? Where do people come from? Who made the cave drawings and the hunebeds, how did the primordial people made fire, how cold was the ice age and where did all the Neanderthals stay? What was the biggest leap forward in man?
