Zonder Ernst

Zonder Ernst is a Dutch comedy series which aired on NCRV. The series premiered on September 28, 1992.

The series revolves around Jet Valkenburg, she has not been widowed that long and has to get used to a life without her husband Ernst. Jet's mother, Frédérique, lives with her daughter. Klaartje, Jet's daughter, also still lives at home. The three women are having a good time, but are also driven crazy by each other's meddling. Jet therefore spends a lot of time with her good friend, Michael. He runs an antiquarian bookshop called De Boekenstal. Jet also works at the antiquarian bookshop. Frédérique regularly has her friend Vera Polman visiting.
