They shouldn't have made Season 4. Season 1 was top 2 & 3 were good season 4 I can't get through. What a vagueness with hallucinations and silliness. All goes too far and nothing to do with the idea of the series. Unfortunately
Typical case, milked to the last drop of series. This last season is unnecessary. Very exaggerated and forced sentimental. Annoying hallucinations and delusions of Clay and Jessica. It was impossible to get through this.
The first season is really great. Well put together. Although I do have my 'here and there' as everything suddenly goes 'for Hannah'. As if she couldn't do anything about it ... what she actually could ... After the series, I immediately watched the 'behond'. Then it also became clear that the intention was also to show that Hannah herself could have done better. Too bad this didn't really come out in the series (that she meant it that way). Season 2 on the other hand was really, really bad. It seemed a rushed, slack script, and it was a desperate attempt to bring back the success of Season 1. Really weak. They should have left it at 1 season. OR they should have come up with a MUCH better script as extension. It would have been even better to make a season on an entirely different problem. Such as racism, school shootings, freedom, 'privacy' ... something other than suicide. I understand that it is important, but attention should also be paid to other problems in the lives of teenagers. Season 1 was a big 8-9 for me. Season 2 was only just worth a 4 for me
Then you have not looked closely, I believe. The subject of school shooting comes up very clearly in the last few episodes of season 2. Plus that the second season is no longer so much about suicide, but more about rape and assault a la #me too ...
Hannah's life, a life destroyed by life; through an accumulation of seemingly jokes and jokes and as a result gradually transitioning to uncontrollable and uncontrollable mental conflict situations. Where in the beginning of the series you think: is this script correct? what a strange turn of the plot, you gradually discover that not only Hannah's inability, fear of reprisals, etc., to respond adequately to situations is basic. In the end, there is nothing left for Hannah to prevent. life; she gives herself one last chance on the last day; she can no longer hold that last thread. An emotional hardliner who learns that you have to constantly work on life to keep that life liveable.
Well, thanks for the link @renzoroy. here it is again: http://www.elle.nl/lifestyle/films-tv/a567091/13-reasons-why-eason-2-netflix-schrijven-kom-eraan/ I just watched it , but it failed to convince me: I keep thinking that season 1 is unbeatable. If only because it is so new and intense. Children taking a firearm to school in US? that has been made into a film many times. on 9x12 and in various series. So I am not waiting for that. Of course, if there is a second season, I will watch and judge. If only to see if they can bring Hannah wee to life. :)
What a good series. There won't be a second season, but that's probably for the best, too. they can't beat this. The story is very easy to bring back to your own environment. this can happen to anyone. We do not know the "football captain" in the Netherlands, but you will always meet the person. This is a series that everyone must have seen. Look!!!
The second season has just been confirmed. Not entirely surprising because of its popularity, but a shame nonetheless. Because I don't think the second season will reach the level of the first season. Of course curious about the second season.
An intense yet fun series to watch. I think this is also something for parents. This is how they see how a teenager experiences school. It is a bit more extreme than in real life, but for the most part it gets over. Definitely recommended to watch!
