Banshee
Banshee is een Amerikaanse misdaadserie van de zender CineMax. De serie ging in première op 11 januari 2013.
Banshee gaat over een voormalig veroordeelde meesterdief, Lucas Hood, die zich voordoet als de nieuwe sheriff van Banshee, Pennsylvania, een dorpje met een grote Amish-populatie. Als sheriff moet hij zorgen voor gerechtigheid, maar tegelijkertijd misbruikt hij zijn positie om zijn criminele activiteiten voort te zetten, zelfs als hij wordt opgejaagd door gangsters die hij jaren eerder heeft verraden.

Sheriff Hood beats up bullies and sleeps with all the beautiful women in the village. And he's not even the real Lucas Hood. “Banshee” is wrong and completely over the top, but in the best possible way. I love it. No nonsense or moralizing, but people who fight for what they think is important in life. And when they fight, blood flows and bones break. Everything is so delicious raw and real. Oh, if after two episodes you're in doubt about whether you want to continue watching season 1, force yourself to pick up episode three more quickly. Bet you'll never stop after that? Just for that threatening tone from Lucas Hood, just before he goes to total loss again: “Oh? So you are the one who likes to beat up little girls?”

Rock solid first episode of season 3. Pulpy, over the top, a tad wrong and a big tad absurd; in short, Banshee is back in town! I'm so glad Banshee is back! Job really is the man. And it's good that Chayton and Nola are back. I look forward to the next episodes!

Great first two episodes again.Die Chayton is going to cause a lot of "Pain in the Ass", both with the Proctors and with the Military, Lucas Hood knows how to make good use of that again.....as long as he doesn't get caught of course Hoon Lee puts something down too, what a character, hehehehe. The number 1 hit series for me for two seasons, from the moment I see the "CineMax" logo, until the end of the episode, I hope they release more of this kind of series.Cinemax can build up such a Nostalgic status in this way.
