Bates Motel will stay open for two more years

Bypass or no bypass, ‘Bates Motel’ is not closing its doors soon. A&E has officially announced that, the Norma and Norman Show, ‘Bates Motel’ will get two more seasons. The fourth season will air at the beginning of 2016 and the fifth season will air early 2017.

Despite of the fact that writer Carlton Cuse announced in May that the fifth season will be the last, A&E has yet to officially announce that the fifth will be the last.

Rob Sharenow, Executive Vice President and General Manager of A&E: “The vision of our incredible creative team has exposed the steady breakdown of the relationship between Norman and Norma Bates. We are thrilled to bring fans two more seasons to witness the next stages of Norman’s transformation into the most notorious psychopath in cinematic history.”

What do you think, will season four and five be the last?

Max Thieriot, Olivia Cooke, Freddie Highmore and Vera Farmiga
