Caprica is een Amerikaanse sciencefictionserie van de zender SyFy. De serie ging in première op 21 april 2010.
Caprica is een spin-off van Battlestar Galactica en speelt zich zo'n 50 jaar af voor de series over Battlestar Galactica. In deze serie maken we kennis met twee families, de Graystones en de Adamas. In deze serie is er nog geen oorlog met de cylons, maar wordt er wel een doorbraak gemaakt in de Artificiele Intelligentie wat onvoorziene consequenties met zich mee brengt.

I've watched the series but it's nowhere near Battlestar Galactica. You can't even compare them, I know that. It just took too long. The last 2 parts were worth it. Now just waiting for the third series Blood & Chrome where the war begins between humans and the Cylons
