CSI: Crime Scene Investigation is een Amerikaanse misdaadserie van de zender CBS. De serie ging in première op 6 oktober 2000.
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (of kortweg CSI) draait om een forensisch onderzoeksteam in Las Vegas. Het team onder leiding van Catherine Willows (gespeeld door Marg Helgenberger) moet verschillende zaken oplossen. Dit kan een moord, verkrachting of een opzettelijke (woning)brand zijn.
Het team heeft een forensisch laboratorium tot zijn beschikking. Met behulp van bewijsmateriaal bestaande uit onder andere DNA, vingerafdrukken en het eventuele lijk moet het proberen uit te zoeken wie de dader is.

To be honest, as long as I've been watching TV series on the internet, I don't know any better than that CSI will be on it. So that came to an end last week. An ending that was not unexpected but also did not fully meet my expectations. Although all the actors came back from the beginning to give this series a full goodbye, the case they had to solve was not the most exciting in all the years. But all in all, we can be proud that this series has been on TV for so long and has given us many hours of viewing pleasure. In any case, they are series that are no longer made

The first few seasons are a great series! As far as I know it was the first CSIs out of 3 that finally appeared, but definitely the best. I do think it's interesting and the stretch goes away after a season or 3-4. Especially because CSI Miami and CSI New York were also added...

They report new episodes at the start of an episode. Episode is already 2 seasons old and has already aired once.
