CSI: Crime Scene Investigation could return

The American channel CBS is working on a reboot of the old hit series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Deadline has reported this.

It was going to be a one-time mini-series to celebrate the launch of the original series twenty years ago. For the series, part of the old cast would return, including William Petersen and Jorja Fox, who played Gil Grissom and Sara Sidle in the series.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation was a series about a forensic investigation team in Las Vegas. The series was certainly revolutionary in the first few years because of the rapid assembly and the modern effects that were used to visualize the techniques of the crime investigators. CSI: Crime Scene Investigation ran for fifteen seasons (until early 2015) and won many prizes. Three spin-offs followed: CSI: Miami, CSI: NY and CSI: Cyber.
