Cult
Cult is een Amerikaanse dramaserie van de zender The CW. De serie ging in première op 19 februari 2012.
Onderzoeksjournalist Jeff Sefton moet altijd lachen met de vreemde theorieën van zijn jongere broer Nate, zeker met zijn laatste angst dat een populaire TV-show hem in gevaar brengt. Maar wanneer zijn broer op een dag mysterieus verdwijnt, kan Jeff niet anders dan zijn broers paranoia serieus te nemen en moet hij onderduiken in de duistere onderwereld van het TV-programma Cult en zijn die-hard fans.
De enige persoon die bereid is Jeff te helpen met zijn onderzoek is Skye, een jonge researchhulp voor het programma die zelf haar eigen vermoedens heeft over het feit dat er steeds meer vreemde dingen gebeuren die gelinkt kunnen worden aan het programma.

Cult.....what can I say.......had to go straight to the Scream movie, horror movie in a horror movie, that was my first impression.But I don't think this series is that bad, it's just not yet clear where the evil is, but that it is there. Definitely have something, so the source of evil does not have to be revealed immediately. I see the series in the Series simply as a cover for the sect, so that members to be acquired from the fanatical fans through hypnosis (hidden messages through the tube), That is why I also think that the cult leader in the TV program is simply the guy behind the whole thing, the makers consciously or unconsciously cooperate with the cult, I think that It's just mass hypnosis. Well, the series definitely appeals to me, still tastes like more

I was looking forward to this series and the first episode was nice in itself, but something will have to change to convince me. Just watched the third episode and a lot has happened in three episodes, a lot has been added, but nothing has been solved yet. On the contrary, it seems that they are getting further and further away from their target. It's chaotic, complicated and actually quite boring. I don't think this series will last long and I'm going to stop following at this point.
