Dexter will return. An actor who has been part of Billions and Carnivàle will join the cast of the series.
Clancy Brown (Billions) will join the cast of Dexter. He will portray Kurt Caldwell. His character is the unofficial mayor of the town Iron Lake. He owns various trucks and the local truck stop. Kurt is powerful, generous and loved by all, as long as you don't hurt anybody that Kurt likes.
The return of Dexter was announced in October 2020. It will come back in the form of a ten-part miniseries. Next to Clancy Brown, Michael C. Hall (Safe) will also return to portray the titular character. From 2006 till 2013, he also portrayed Dexter Morgan.
