Official teaser trailer for The Boys spinoff Gen V released by Prime Video

Prime Video released the official teaser trailer for Gen V, the first spin-off of the superhero series The Boys, on Monday. The series from Sony Pictures Television and Amazon Studios in association with Kripke Enterprises, Point Gray Pictures and Original Film is set at Godolkin University, America's only college for young adult superheroes. Testing their physical and moral limits to compete for the school's coveted top spot, they soon learn that ambition comes with sacrifice and that the difference between right and wrong isn't as clear-cut as they once thought. When the dark secrets of the university are revealed, the students must learn what kind of heroes they will become.

The teaser trailer comes ahead of the premiere date on Friday, September 29.



Cast includes Jaz Sinclair (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Chance Perdomo, Lizze Broadway (The Rookie), Shelley Conn (Liar), Maddie Phillips (Teenage Bounty Hunters), London Thor (Shameless (US)), Derek Luh (Shining Vale), Asa Germann (Dahmer - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story), Patrick Schwarzenegger (The Staircase), Sean Patrick Thomas (Reasonable Doubt), Marco Pigossi (Alta Mar) and guest stars Clancy Brown (Dexter: New Blood) and Jason Ritter (Raising Dion).

Jessie T. Usher, Claudia Doumit, Colby Minifie, and P.J. Byrne reprise their roles from The Boys.

Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters are showrunners and executive producers. Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Ori Marmur, Pavun Shetty, Ken Levin, Jason Netter, Garth Ennis, Darick Robertson, Craig Rosenberg, Nelson Cragg, Zak Schwartz, Erica Rosbe, and Michaela Starr also serve as executive producers of the spinoff series.
