Imperfect Women is a limited series starring Elisabeth Moss, Kerry Washington, and Kate Mara about three women and the devastating damage of their hidden secrets. The television adaptation of Araminta Hall's Annie Weisman novel of the same name is also executive produced by Moss and Washington.
Kinnaman (pictured) stars as Robert in Imperfect Women, a psychological thriller that centers on a crime that shatters the lives of a decades-long friendship between three women. The mysterious series explores guilt and retribution, love and betrayal. As the investigation unfolds, so too does the truth about how even the closest relationships can change over time, according to a synopsis from the producers.
Hall’s novel is set after the murder of Nancy Hennessy, leaving behind her two best friends, Eleanor and Mary: an adoring husband and daughter as part of the perfect life she led, and a lover whose identity she kept hidden from everyone. As the investigation into her death stalls, dark details about Hennessy’s life come to light, and Eleanor and Mary grapple with how little they knew about their best friend, each other, and possibly themselves.
Kinnaman is internationally known for his television roles as Detective Stephen Holder in AMC's The Killing, Takeshi Kovacs in the first season of Altered Carbon, and Governor Will Conway in the American version of House of Cards (2013). Since 2019, he has played the role of NASA astronaut Ed Baldwin in the Apple TV+ science fiction drama series For All Mankind. He can soon be seen in the Netflix mystery series Harry Hole.
