The NBA era on NBC officially begins this fall, and we're getting a sneak peek at what the network's schedule will look like as professional basketball takes over primetime. I say "sneak peek" because NBC today announced its fall schedule for just the first six weeks of the season, through October, with some hints at November's schedule.

The October schedule features less than a third (31.8%) of scripted programming — which could be the lowest percentage ever for NBC — and one new series, the unscripted On Brand with Jimmy Fallon.
