Ryan Murphy's Halstone will premiere on Netflix soon

Ryan Murphy's (American Horror Story) new Netflix series - Halston - is about to premiere on the streaming service.Halston revolves around the rise and fall of the first American celebrity fashion designer. A hostile takeover forces him to fight for his most precious possession, the name Halston. The series takes place in New York in the 70s. Ewan McGregor (Fargo) portrays the titular character. The series will premiere on the 14th of May.

Daniel Minahan (Game of Thrones) has directed the series and will serve as executive producer alongside Murphy. Next to McGregor, the cast further consists of Krysta Rodriguez (Daybreak), Rebecca Dayan (Elementary), Bill Pullman (The Sinner) and David Pittu (House of Cards). Netflix has released some pictures through a Tweet from Murphy.
