Hemlock Grove is een Amerikaanse horrorserie van Netflix. De serie ging in première op 14 april 2013.
Hemlock Grove begint met de ontdekking van het verscheurde lijk van een jonge vrouw op de terreinen van de voormalige Godfrey-staalfabriek. De politie en de bewoners hebben enkele verdachten op het oog. Sommigen denken aan een ontsnapte man uit de White Tower, een biotechnologisch onderzoekscentrum gerund door de voormalige fabriekseigenaars. Anderen verdenken dan weer de 17-jarige zigeuner Peter, die bij zijn klasgenoten voortdurend opschept dat hij een weerwolf is. Tenslotte is er ook Roman Godfrey, de arrogante en sociopathische Godfrey-erfgenaam, wiens zus Shelley aan een monsterlijke ziekte lijdt en wiens moeder Olivia een ware controlefreak is. Peter en Roman beseffen dat ze de dader zelf moeten vinden om hun onschuld te bewijzen en beginnen samen te werken.

I have now completely finished the series. I must say that I am quite impressed. The acting performances of Famke Janssen alone are worth watching. But basically everything is strong: plot, acting, special effects. I really didn't see who the killer is. Not all loose ends are tied up, but it makes the series more exciting. And you long for a sequel. Fortunately, not everything is explained and chewed out. Series is for an intelligent viewer with a good dose of imagination. An absolute must!

If American Horror Story, True Blood and Famke Janssen produced a love baby to the beat of The Prodigy, it would most likely be called Hemlock Grove.

when i started the 1st episode i thought omg what is this series when i saw the sex scene, then the scene at school i thought this is boring, but then the action started at the barriers, i thought oh this looks promising anyway . but otherwise I continued to find the rest of the series weird and boring and not exciting at all. maybe one day I will continue watching to add the whole series to my viewing history, but for the time being that will not be

At first I had my doubts about this series, but after 2/3 episodes I thought it was getting better. Has a little bit like TRue blood, is also a bit because of Alexander Skarsgard's brother, Furthermore, it is a fun and fascinating series ????

This series breathes sexual tension in a bizarre way, how fascinating “the dark side” is. Femke is ruthless, no one can portray this character in such a way that we already knew from X-men.

Seen two episodes, and it was a bit of a Highschool twilight saga youth film that went wild and created very unbelievable moments... And certainly after house of cards and true detective this is a free fall in the level of series watching... Not my cup of tea, but for viewers who don't attach too much importance to quality, might be fine...
