A new season of Homecoming, with a new story and new lead actress, will start near the end of May.

The first season of this series is actually the whole story. This season, with Julia Roberts in a great role, rounded off the story nicely as far as I'm concerned. But a second season was made anyway. And yes, this season clarifies a few things, but it is actually a bit superfluous. This is also evident from the small number of episodes (7) in this season.

But I suspect there was a bit too little diversity in the first season and that they were called out on that by their DEI department. And that was more than made up for in the second season...

In any case, it is a pretty nice series and, with episodes of around half an hour, perfect for binge-watching.
