Judas

Judas is a Dutch crimes series which aired on Videoland. The series premiered on January 6, 2019.

During Astrid's childhood in Amsterdam's Jordaan neighbourhood, it soon becomes clear that she is different from her working-class brothers and sister; she is smart and tries to evolve at an early age to get away from her violent father. Every time that seems to succeed, she is swallowed up again by her family, especially her criminal brother Willem 'Wim' Holleeder. In the series, Astrid works towards the moment she finally betrays her brother to the Justice Department. Flashbacks reveal what a childhood she and her brother struggled through and how painful, but necessary, her betrayal is.
