Äkta Människor is een Zweedse sciencefictionserie van de zender SVT1. De serie ging in première op 22 januari 2012.
In Äkta Människor veroveren menselijke robots, zogenaamde hubots, een steeds grotere plaats in de huidige maatschappij. Ze zijn intelligent, gracieus en efficiënt. Niet alleen als personeel zijn ze overal inzetbaar. Naast eenvoudige handelingen kunnen ze ook reanimeren en eerste hulp verlenen. En voor de eenzame avonden zijn er gezelschapshubots. Ook in de seksindustrie weten ze wat van hen verlangd wordt. Terwijl velen deze nieuwe ontwikkeling omarmen en de hubots als werkkrachten, familie of zelfs minnaars in hun hart sluiten, zien anderen de toekomst met angst tegemoet. Wat gebeurt er als de menselijk ogende machines intelligenter blijken? Ook geruchten over zelfstandig opererende groepen hubots, de eerste afrekeningen en wilde groepen die voor elkaar zorgen, jagen de bevolking vrees aan.

The TV industry in Scandinavia is like Douwe Dabbert's knapsack; bottomless and only beautiful things come out. Real Humans can simply go back to Borgen, Forbrydelsen, Bron|Broen. Do we get excited about the idea that we will soon be living together with robots that are barely distinguishable from humans and that do all the jobs for us that we don't feel like doing ourselves? A bit like the Poles, only you have to charge them every so many hours. Could we fall in love with them and give them the freedom to lead a life of their own? So those kinds of questions in Real Humans. Nice though.

Season 2 became a bit more absurd, but that could not be otherwise, if you had continued on the same tour as season 1 it would have become a soap. Still a very fun series, as far as I'm concerned!

A fantastic series of which I missed the broadcast of Sunday 3 November due to a malfunction at the Media Park. Unfortunately, this was also not shown on TV of missed broadcast. (only the first 5 minutes, just before the failure)

A fine, almost classic sci-fi series that shows a realistic picture of what a society where man and machine live together might look like. Certainly for the enthusiast, but also for people who think they have nothing to do with sci-fi.

Seen four episodes from s02, and advanced considerably in the story. appearance and atmosphere remain the same, but the story is a bit too unbelievable and too much of a good thing. Something a bit annoying... And a bit of a shame. But still good enough to watch I think/hope...

And finished! And luckily! Because in the season it kind of dropped into the humorous, and little was left of the drama. Surely the second part of this season was a lot huh? and what? And quite a few mistakes... Very unfortunate. As it looks like there will also be a part 3, but whether I'm going to start? maybe when I'm in bed with a bad flu .. Watch part 2? only if you are a real fan, let it run differently ... ps must say that visually it was all fine, it was the story and the elaboration of it was a pity..

Saw the first 3 episodes of season 2, and I still really like it! Perhaps different from season 1, but that makes sense because you can't go on forever with families with a household hubot.
