Guidelines for Adding and Editing Series

To avoid confusion about what is allowed when adding and editing series, we have compiled all rules and guidelines for you in a clear overview.ADDING

* There is a limit of 3 additions per day per user/IP address, with a maximum of 25 series/programs per month. If you exceed this limit, extra additions will be automatically removed.

* Series or programs without followers will be removed over time. So only add something if you want to follow it yourself or have already seen it.

* Series without a premiere date (still in production or development) will be removed. Always check this in advance via TMDb or IMDb.

* Always use the original title of a series (e.g., La Casa de Papel, not Money Heist).

The following content does not belong in the database:

- (Television) films (except as a special in a series)
- Video games and podcasts
- Annual events (such as the World Cup or Olympic Games)

When adding, always check:

- Correct episode duration (original broadcast)
- Correct year
- Country of origin
- Correct channel/network (note: NPO 1, 2, and 3 are not channels)
- Existing seasons and episodes with dates

- Add a maximum of three genres. Keep it logical and avoid overlap (e.g., detective = already crime).

- The description must consist of at least three correct Dutch sentences. "A program about cooking" is not sufficient.

- Episode dates are mandatory. Without dates, a series cannot be included.

When is a series rejected?
* A series or program can be rejected if:

* Data is missing or incorrect (e.g., no description, wrong duration, no dates)
* Incorrect channel, country, or genres are entered
* The series does not comply with the above guidelines

* Always check TMDb first. Is information missing? First, add this to TMDb before adding the series. We gather all series and programs exclusively from The Movie Database (TMDb). If a series or program is not listed there, we cannot add it. You can add and edit content on TMDb yourself, but you need to be logged in for that.

* Be aware that approval may take longer because everything is checked.

EDITING
You can edit existing content yourself via the 'edit content' option on the series page.

**Keep in mind:**
- Episode duration: only use the original broadcast duration
- Channel and country: only the original channel, unless production has been taken over
- Genres: a maximum of three, consistent with the description
- Trailer: add or correct if necessary
- Synonyms: alternative titles may be added
- Description: improve or supplement in correct Dutch

REQUESTS
Can't edit something yourself (e.g., episodes, dates, or images)?
Create a topic in the forum with:

Name of the series

What is missing or incorrect

TMDb link (e.g., ID from the URL)

PREMIUM USERS
Premium users can make a request themselves to have episode information retrieved again. This normally happens automatically but can sometimes be delayed.
