The ‘Supernatural’ spin-off gets a new name, ‘Supernatural: Bloodlines’. ‘Bloodlines’ will be about mafia-esque monster families in Chicago and a new kind of hunter.
Melissa Roxburgh, who already played a role in ‘Supernatural’ season seven, episode twelve, will have a regular role as werewolf Violet Durant in 'Bloodlines'. Because she is in love with shape-shifter David (Nathaniel Bozulic, 'The Originals') she hides her true nature.
Danielle Savre ('Heroes') as shape-shifter Margo Hayden, Sean Faris ('Pretty Little Liars') as werewolf Julian Durant, Lucien Laviscount ('Skins') as police academy trainee/newly-minted Hunter Ennis Roth and Stephen Martines ('Burn Notice') as world-weary Chicago PD Detective Freddie Costa will be the other ‘Bloodlines’ regulars.
The spin-off ‘Supernatural: Bloodlines’ will start as a backdoor pilot in ‘Supernatural’ episode twenty of season nine on April 29.
