‘I’m a Celebrity’ goes Dutch

The British ‘I’m a Celebrity’ will air this spring on the Dutch RTL network. The concept of the show is that B- and C celebrities will be put to the test in the jungle with terrible challenges.

‘I’m a Celebrity’ was the best rated show in the UK last year and at its peak 13.5 million viewers watched the show. The German version almost had 8 million viewers; it was the best rating for German television in ten years.

Tobias de Graff of ITV stated: “Watching celebrities leaving there luxurious homes and lifestyle to do under go atrocities in the jungle is addictive television and we are very enthusiastic that we have the chance to show it to out Dutch audience.”

The Dutch version of 'I'm a Celebrity' will be filmed in Suriname.
