Chad Powers Comedy Series Gets Premiere Date From Hulu

Chad Powers, the new sports comedy series starring Glen Powell, has been given a premiere date by Hulu.Chad Powers, the half-hour comedy series from co-creators Glen Powell and Michael Waldron, follows successful quarterback Russ Holliday (Powell), whose misconduct ruins his college career. As a result, he disguises himself and joins a struggling Southern football team as the talented, suave Chad Powers.

The series hails from 20th Television and is based on the sketch produced by NFL Films and Omaha Productions that aired on ESPN+ as part of the series Eli’s Places. Powell and Waldron co-wrote the pilot.

The cast also includes Perry Mattfeld as Ricky, Quentin Plair as Coach Byrd, Wynn Everett as Tricia, Frankie A. Rodriguez as Danny and Steve Zahn as Jake Hudson.

Manning is executive producing, along with Peyton Manning, Jamie Horowitz, Ben Brown and ESPN at Omaha Productions. Waldron and Adam Fasullo are executive producing for Anomaly Pictures. Luvh Rakhe will executive produce alongside Tony Yacenda, who will also serve as director.

Chad Powers premieres with two episodes on Tuesday, September 30, with new episodes dropping every Tuesday thereafter.
