Paper Girls

Nice but not very memorable series. According to Wiki there will be a 2nd season, but to be honest I wouldn't have thought it a disaster if that hadn't happened. The core cast of girls is nicely diverse. All race boxes are neatly checked, as it should be nowadays and the rainbow has also been taken into account. The acting is decent but not very special, just like the story. It's about time travel, but it's not all thought out very consistently. There are quite a few plot holes. Like older versions who never indicate that they were influenced by meeting their younger versions. If everything has already happened, as is claimed at one point, why don't they know about it? Anyway, you shouldn't think about that too much. I understand that this is also a comic that has been made into a movie. I don't know how famous that comic is. I'm not really familiar with that, but I'd certainly never heard of it before. Anyway, it's quite bingable on a lazy Sunday, but I can't give it more than a 6.5.
