Person of Interest is een Amerikaanse misdaadserie van de zender CBS. De serie ging in première op 22 september 2011.
Een miljardair-softwaregenie genaamd Harold Finch creëert een machine voor de overheid die is ontworpen om terreurdaden te detecteren voordat ze kunnen plaatsvinden, door de hele wereld te bewaken via elke mobiele telefoon, e-mail en bewakingscamera. Finch ontdekte dat de machine alles ziet, potentiële terroristische daden en geweldsmisdrijven waarbij gewone mensen betrokken zijn. Toen de regering gewelddadige misdaden tussen normale mensen als "irrelevant" beschouwde, bouwde Finch een achterdeur in het systeem die hem het burgerservicenummer geeft van een persoon die betrokken is bij een toekomstige gewelddadige misdaad, zodat hij kan handelen. x-on:Fab, Then you didn't pay attention after that episode. Did you miss the episode where Reese is completely broken and needs time to get over that? Or maybe the episode of Finch before he even met Reese? Or the episode with Shaw and her flashbacks. Or the episode where you find out what Root did before she found out about the machine. Those are all pretty personal episodes. Not all episodes can be personal because of course they also have to finish the story. The story has definitely not become more unbelievable. It all falls into place correctly as the episodes progress. Samaritan, Northern Light, Collier with his Vigilance, Decima, Root & the machine.

Watched both seasons now. What a terribly good series. I have enjoyed every episode and can't wait for season 3. As far as I'm concerned one of the best series of 2013. Now it's nice to catch a repeat on TV every now and then.
