Based on the first two episodes, I can say I'm eager to see what happens next. Initially, it seemed to be heading in the direction of the film "Contact," starring Jodie Foster. An alien signal with scientific information that's used to create something. But pretty soon after, it went in a completely different direction. Unexpected, but interesting.

Also very funny is the opportunist who immediately knows how to take maximum advantage of the situation that has arisen.
Yes, these first episodes (without sound interference, by the way) certainly invite you to continue watching this series.

Surprising series, a bit like Black Mirror.
Started off very interesting with the discovered alien signal.
Furthermore, it remains a mystery how this scientifically arrived at, and by that I'm referring to the contamination. Warning: spoilers below:

I'm guessing the signal is some kind of mRNA code they recreated in the lab as a virus for testing on animals. A minor accident (with that rat) then infected the entire world population. This sounds a bit like a "black swan event" or a Fermi paradox, where humanity is seen as a (too) great threat, and this is a measure to curb humanity's aggression and belligerence. I'm just making this up, but it's very similar. So I'm really looking forward to the next episodes!
