Fiona Shaw cast for Presumed Innocent season two

Fiona Shaw has been added as a series regular for the second season of the legal thriller Presumed Innocent on Apple TV+.
The second season of the anthology series Presumed Innocent is inspired by Dissection of a Murder, the debut work by Jo Murray, and follows Leila (Rachel Brosnahan), an ambitious defense attorney who takes on a high-profile case.

Courtney B. Vance plays her boss at the law firm, Fiona Shaw (pictured) plays a partner at the firm and Leila’s second chair, Matthew Rhys plays her husband and the prosecutor in the case, and Jack Reynor is her client, the defendant.

The first season, led by Jake Gyllenhaal and inspired by Scott Turow’s courtroom thriller of the same name, was the most-watched drama series on Apple TV+ upon its release in 2024.

Shaw won an Emmy for her guest role in Fleabag (BBC), received two Emmy nominations and a BAFTA TV Award for the BBC series Killing Eve, and is known for the Harry Potter films.

Recently, she appeared in Bad Sisters (Apple TV+) and True Detective: Night Country (HBO). Her upcoming projects include a new Sense and Sensibility film and the Prime Video series Anansi Boys.
