ABC Family sets premiere dates and more

The summer schedule of ABC Family is set and it includes premiere dates for two new comedies and a new drama series.

First we start with ‘Pretty Little Liars’. The season finale will be on March 18th and season five of ‘Pretty Little Liars’ will return on June 10th. Season five will not only include the 100th episode but also holds the return of Alison in Rosewood.

The new drama series ‘Chasing Life’, a one-hour drama, will follow Italia Ricci (‘Unnatural History’) who plays a young journalist. Her life will be turned upside down when she learns she has cancer. The premiere of ‘Chasing Life’ will be after 'Pretty Little Liars' on June 10th.

‘Switched at Birth’ and ‘The Fosters’ will return on June 16th.

The new comedy series ‘Young and Hungry’ will premiere on June 25th. The half-hour sitcom follows the life of young food blogger (Emily Osment, ‘Hannah Montana’) who is hired as the personal chef of a young tech entrepreneur. The other new comedy series ‘Mystery Girls’ also premieres on June 25th. The half-hour comedy series tells the story of two former TV-detectives (Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling, ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’) who reunite to solve real-life crimes.
