The trailer reintroduces us to Paddy Mayne (Jack O'Connell) and David Stirling (Connor Swindell), the latter of whom is still languishing as a prisoner after the dramatic events of the first season's finale.
The first season took place mainly in North Africa, while in this season the SAS troops move to mainland Europe.
GHQ has cast doubt on the regiment's future - but can they prove the SAS remains vital to the war?
The second season once again comes from Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight and sees the return of leading actors such as Sofia Boutella and Dominic West. New actors in season two include Con O'Neill, who plays General Montgomery, and Gwilym Lee, who plays Stirling's brother Bill, who founded the 2SAS regiment.
Other new cast members include Stuart Thompson, Paolo De Vita, Anna Manuelli, Edward Bennett and Matteo Franco.
Last year, Lee teased that season 2 would in many ways explore "a different war", explaining: "In the desert, they rarely encountered civilians, for instance. "They were operating deep, deep behind enemy lines, and there just weren't the same consequences and the same kind of impact on the soldiers, so you see the human impact on them a little bit more.
