CTV orders fourth season of Saving Hope

CTV, the Canadian Broadcaster, has ordered a fourth season of the medical drama series ‘Saving Hope’. The fourth season will get 18 episodes, bringing the series of Erica Durance to 67 episodes. An average of 1.5 million viewers have watched the third season of ‘Saving Hope’.

Production of the fourth season will start in Toronto in the summer of 2015. ION has secured the rights to air the first three seasons in the US in September. They haven’t announced yet when they’ll start airing ‘Saving Hope’ or if they will purchase season four as well, but this seems likely.

‘Saving Hope’ is set at Hope Zion Hospital after its chief of surgery (Michael Shanks) falls into a coma, putting his fiancée and fellow surgeon in a state of shock. Cast members are: Daniel Gillies, Huse Madhavji, Julia Taylor Ross and Kristopher Turner.
