NBC shuts down production ‘Sean Saves the World’

Even though ‘Sean Saves the World’ still had an order of five more episodes, NBC has stopped the production of the show. NBC had ordered 18 episodes - 13 episodes have already been aired – of ‘Sean Saves the World’ which stars Sean Hayes as a divorced dad. Two of the five episodes have already been shot, but it is unclear whether they will be ever aired.

NBC Chairman said at TCA a week ago: “We like the 'MJ Fox Show'; we like Sean Hayes’ show a lot. Creatively, we think they’re good shows, and we’re really unhappy that we can’t find an audience for them in those time periods.” ‘Sean Saves the World’ and ‘The MJ Show’ have struggled in the ratings, most recently logging a 0.7 rating in adults 18-49. During the Television Critics Tour in Pasadena, California, 'Sean Saves the World’ and ‘The Michael J. Fox Show’ were absent from NBC’s prime time lineup.

The faith of ‘The Michael J. Fox Show’ is not yet clear.
