Shameless is een Amerikaanse dramedyserie van de zender Showtime. De serie ging in première op 9 januari 2011.
Frank Gallagher is de trotse vader van 6 slimme en zelfstandige kinderen die zonder hem... waarschijnlijk beter af waren. Als Frank niet het beetje geld wat ze hebben, aan het opdrinken is, ligt hij bewusteloos op grond. Maar de kinderen hebben hun weg gevonden om op te groeien zonder hem. The Gallaghers tonen geen greintje respect, zijn toch erg innemend, bijzonder veerkrachtig en kennen geen enkele schaamte.

The purists watched the British version and only preach that gospel, but there is absolutely no shame in following Shameless US. A little more polished, a little less raw, but certainly no less fun. For people who think they are part of a completely disturbed and disrupted family, this is an absolute eye opener. When you see your uncle again opening a beer bottle with his navel after watching a family party, you will always think: “It's not that bad. Frank could have been my father too."

Mixed feelings about the last episode. I thought the Frank part was well and nicely rounded, but the rest still feels unfinished. And unfortunately no last look at Fiona.

I started this series a week ago, just watched season 1 and have to say that it is a really nice series!! If you like Californication then this series is for you :)

Does anyone have an idea where you can buy / watch this series in Belgium with Dutch subtitles? I only found season 1 and do not think that the series can be seen on Netflix Belgium ... Season 1 I could buy in the store and I found great, but the rest I found nowhere.

The first 5 seasons, really enjoyed ..! (Partly thanks to Sheila) afterwards they become less and less, they lapse into repetition. T could have ended with S10.

Great series! In the beginning I liked it but it had its flaws, so I wasn't addicted yet. But when season 3 was completely out, I watched it all in 3 days and season 4 I kept up every week, and I can say that it is now my favorite series.

Started this series a few days ago, after it had been on my list for a long time. After 5 episodes I already think it is a top series and have read that it only gets better. Especially the actress who plays Fiona is doing very well. You will only have such a father :)
