“Storm Lara” is about all facets of love: the excitement of early happiness, the weariness of a longer relationship, but it is also about jealousy, adultery, shame and guilt. Lara is an energetic 32-year-old woman who always pushes her limits, both in love and in her work. Due to her charisma and energy, she often gets away with her rashness, but it looks like this formula is not going to work for long.

My wife liked this better (and more exciting) than I did. Quite static in my opinion, corona television, by which I mean that there are never more than 2 people together in one room and the main characters clearly lived in the same 'bubble' during the recordings. You just see that this was filmed during the corona pandemic. It wasn't bad, because Ella and Wouter acted great, but I thought the screenplay was rather meager (and predictable). You watched the whole series in two hours and I wasn't bored.
