The Alienist: Angel of Darkness has a release date!

The second season of The Alienist, which is subtitles as Angel of Darkness, will release on TNT in July.

In August 2018, MySeries revealed that The Alienist would have a second season. This season will, however, have a different story. TNT has finally revealed a release date for The Alienist: Angel of Darkness. Castmembers of the first season who will return for the second season are Dakota Fanning, Luke Evans, Daniel Brühl, Douglas Smith and Matthew Shear. New actors joining the cast are Melanie Field and Rosy McEwen.

In Angel of Darkness, Sara (Fanning) has opened her own detective agency and she will have to deal with a brand new case. Alongside Kreizler (Brühl) and Moore (Evans), she is tasked with finding Ana Linares, the kidnapped baby of a Spanish consular. The story takes place in 19th Century New York. The Alienist: Angel of Darkness will air weekly on TNT, starting on the 26th of July.
