What makes this series so... TOO crazy are 3 main threads. 1. What is Raymond van Keen..? 2. Does Tom Keen play a "dual role"? 3. What's the importance of Raymond turning himself in and only wanting to talk to "Keen"..? WONDERFUL. Sit back in a minute!!
@deaken I really have to comment there. Yours will fall right back in, that's not right at all. The series consists of puzzles and riddle. You get clues answers (and more questions) every episode What about Red and Lizzy and their relationship. And Tom? Is he who he says he is? each episode is centered on 1 criminal in The Blacklist, but that's just a side story. The real story takes place outside the criminals. I think this series together with Banshee is the best of 2013!
The Blacklist owes a lot to James Spader who plays brilliantly as Reddington. He was made for such a role, because without him The Blacklist is basically a series of nothing in my opinion.
Yep, you hit the nail on the head. It's entertaining, but with a lot of flaws. This isn't a very well written series... that's for sure. Another case of 'taking a lot of nonsense, illogical things and unbelievability into the bargain' in order to enjoy it. Without James Spader... you shouldn't even want to think about that.
Great series, look forward to it every time. This is mainly due to the charismatic role of Raymond Reddington. How well it has been put down. Fantastic actor.
I understand the reactions of the people here, for the people who drop out because they don't like csi and bones etc: this series is very different! In the beginning they seem like independent episodes, but this does not stay that way, the setting is now set and each episode the common thread emerges more strongly. I recommend to watch at least until episode 9, then you will see that episode 10 is certainly not a punishment ;)
indeed, especially her reaction that the bones belong to the "real" Raymond is ridiculous, she knew that her father was dead, she killed him herself, she now also knows very well what the fake Raymond is like, what I find hypocritical is that She is exactly like him in many areas, including her child, when was the last time she visited her? only to get revenge on tom's murderer and then play some kind of game with raymond, a downright annoying player in this great series
