The Following is een Amerikaanse dramaserie van de zender Fox. De serie ging op 21 januari 2013 in première.
De beruchte seriemoordenaar Joe Carroll is ontsnapt uit de gevangenis en begint aan een nieuwe moorden, de FBI roept agent Ryan Hardy op om de zaak op te lossen. Hardy was verantwoordelijk voor het vastleggen van Carroll negen jaar geleden. Hardy kent hem beter dan wie dan ook. Maar de Ryan Hardy die Carroll oppakte jaren geleden is niet dezelfde man als vandaag. Hij is zowel fysiek als mentaal veranderd door het vorige nastreven van deze seriemoordenaar.

@Roeman: I understand exactly what you mean and you are absolutely right. We all have series and movies that we love and that we don't understand that no one else can. That will of course always remain the case and that is a good right that people may have. It always revolves around the argumentation why something is good or not good. Of course, with valid points of view, an opinion always weighs more than when someone states that something is bad and cannot substantiate it. Unfortunately, many people do the latter. The Americans is great and I'm curious what you think about it. It is a series from cable network FX and they also deliver strong series with Sons of Anarchy and Justified. It is a network based on character development and original stories and that is what they are known for. I also do weekly recaps for The Americans and they are now at episode 8. The series is very worthwhile and I can already say that the series will do well at the upcoming Emmy, Golden Globes and SAG awards. Nominations are inevitable.

Really thought it was a ridiculous 2nd season! Went from left to right...way too much extreme.. Story made no sense joe joins the cult let everything get killed and suddenly almost everyone adores him. Really awful. There was some good suspense and a good episode every now and then but I won't be watching season 3. How then is Joe still alive.??? Of course he should have been dead

So watched the first episode... and it was AWESOME... James Purefoy in the role of charming and charismatic history professor Joe Carroll is brilliant.. I see several serial killers in it.. The storyline is so cleverly conceived and tension between Joe Carroll and FBI Agent Ryan Hardy is so cleverly put together it's almost palpable. As if you are one of the two .. I watch the show online .. I am immensely annoyed by the often deviating subtitles .. It does not match what is being said and since the Netherlands is quick this time, the show is running in America 1 episode on us for...
