The Librarians can go on adventure for one more season

TNT has given its okay to ‘The Librarians’ to go on adventure for one more season. The second season will get ten episodes and premiere in the autumn of 2015.

‘The Librarians’ is based on the three-part movie series The Librarian with Noah Wyle in the lead role. In the series we follow the members of a secret society that helps with solving old mysteries and find and/or protect historical artefacts. The cast members are: Rebecca Romijn, Christian Kane, Lindy Booth, John Kim, Matt Frewer and John Larroquette. Noah Wyle, Jane Curtin and Bob Newhart are returning in the roles they played in the movies.

The brand new fantasy-adventure from TNT achieved an average of 11.4 million viewers every week. ‘The Librarians’ finished second, behind TNT's ‘The Last Ship’, as the most-watched series at TNT.
