Wonderful series that provides a critical look at politics in the United States. Well written, nice deep characters, well acted. The series I can't get enough of.

Great series, you must be a bit of a fan of the writing style of Aaron Sorkin (The West Wing); verbally witty and fast and at a high pace. I found series 2 just a little more convincing; more the dark side of chasing firsts and big news stories.

The third season also manages to grab me more, too bad it's only 6 episodes!

Somehow The Newsroom doesn't fully convince me. Jeff Daniels is a great actor and the acting is fine. The storylines are quite slow and everything takes place in almost only 1 building/location. Sometimes the scenes are a bit too hysterical.
