The CW greenlights The Originals

The backdoor pilot of The Originals aired Thursday on The CW during the 20th episode of the fourth season of The Vampire Diaries and drew 2.2. million viewers.

Yesterday they officially announced that The Originals will get full season. It's not surprising, because The Vampire Diaries spin-off already had a huge fanbase.

In the backdoor pilot Klaus will return to the French part of New Orleans, where many supernatural forms come together. A city Klaus helped building centuries ago and where he will be reunited with his devil protégé Marcel.
