Almost in the same breath A&E has renewed ‘Bates Motel’ and cancelled ‘The Returned (US)’. Already in May it was written on the Facebook page of ‘The Returned (US)’ that renewal was uncertain.
‘The Returned (US)’ is based on the French series ‘Les Revenants’, the series follows residents in a small town whose lives are disrupted when people who have been dead for many years begin reappearing.
‘The Returned (US)’ premiered on 9 March 2015 and had only 10 episodes. The last episode aired on 11 May 2015. Netflix is now airing the first season.
Do you think it is a pity that ‘The Returned (US)’ will not return for a second season?
